BURIAL RIGHTS

Walmer churchyard is now closed for burials.

The Cornilo Churches

Space is very limited in all our churchyards, if you are resident in one of our villages  or regularly attend worship and are on the churches electoral roll you have a right to be buried in the churchyard if there is space. You cannot reserve or purchase a burial plot as these remain the property of the  Parochial Church Council.

ALL burials including of ashes need permission, and the appropriate fee even if they are to be put in an existing grave.

PLEASE DO NOT ARRANGE FOR ANY BURIAL UNTIL YOU HAVE PERMISSION
